SELAMAT DATANG TO MALAYSIAN FESTIVAL IN BRACKNELL 2006

 

First and foremost, I would like to thank the Organising Committee of Malaysian Festival in Bracknell 2006 for organising this event for the second year since first held in 2005. We could not have organised this event without the assistance, input and support of many parties. Special gratitude goes to the Bracknell Forest Borough Council, Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, Bracknell Chamber of Commerce, iEverything Ltd., Nia Marie's, MATRADE, Malaysia Airlines and High Commission of Malaysia that made this festival a very successful one.

 

We are confident that this event will elevate the profile of Malaysia as a leading holiday and business destination in the Far East. The contents of the festival have been carefully planned and crafted to make sure they appeal to the different taste and expectations of the visitors.

 

This year's event is very special as we regard it as a building up event towards the Visit Malaysia Year 2007/8 to mark the 50 th Anniversary of Nationhood. In this festival you will see and experience a glimpse of what Malaysia has to offer in terms of culture, arts, heritage, food, crafts and many travel packages to make your dreams come true. Please take the opportunity to sample the uniqueness of Malaysia that will be presented to you.

 

I hope you enjoy the festival and I look forward to seeing you and your love ones in Malaysia exploring and enjoying various attractions and multi-cultures, participating in meetings and exhibitions, visiting friends and relatives, shopping, golfing, diving and many more.
